If you have a little linebacker on your hands or a ballerina always on the move then Pampers Cruisers may be exactly what you are looking for. For those older babies and toddlers that are always busy and never sit still you need a diaper that is secure, stays in place, and will keep the mess inside. Cruisers were designed with just that baby in mind. They are meant to stay snug and fit appropriately to keep the mess in, and move with the baby so they can keep as busy as they always are without having to worry about leaks. As with all Pampers Diapers they are created with the 3 layer absorbency, unlike other diaper brands that only use 2 layers.
One of the benefits of the Cruisers is they introduced the three way fit, that allows baby to stay busy and move around without Mom or Dad worrying about a mess coming out. With Pampers Cruisers you will have up to 12 hours of leak protection, these are said to be very good for overnight diapers. The outside material is made just as soft as Pampers Swaddlers, and they feature a new Sesame Street design for kids to enjoy.
The one downside reported by parents is they tend to leak overnight and do not hold up to their 12 hours of leak protection like they make claims for. The diapers tend to feel squishier when they are wet with even the smallest amount of urine, making you think your child has filled their diaper quicker than they actually have. Some parents have reported leaks out the back of the diaper causing a huge mess to clean up. Some said they loved the diapers before but they changed the way they were made, making claims that the tabs no longer are fitting secure enough like they used to. Others state that they are great for daytime, but the nighttime is a nightmare. The claims of 12 hours is definitely not true says one mother. The price is a bit outrageous for diapers that you will be constantly changing over and over at night time. The three way fit seems to cause problems with leaking as well. Pampers used to use Dry Max diapers that helped leaks remain where they were supposed to, inside, however with the switch to the 3 way fit a lot more leaks are getting out.
Like any other diapers it’s up to you to give them a try, you can read all the comments and this review on the Pros and Cons, but you never know if the diaper is the right fit for you and your child until you try them out. If you feel the type of style is not to your child’s liking then pass on them. There are other diapers out there that could work just as well. Many parents may tell you good things, and others may tell you bad things it’s all up to you to try them out and get a feel for how they work.
